it's not as difficult as it looks. E.g., the view form one tee gives you the impression you need to carry it 250+ just to reach the fairway. But it's actually only a carry of 160. Another (the first) makes you think you have to hit the ball to a 25-yard fairway, but there is actually an expansive landing area. In the West, the only course that may be similar is Wolf Creek (Mesquite). Those who like WC, are likely to love TR; those that don't like WC should probably skip TR. Can't wait to read Jope's review of TR after he plays it next year!
