underdog in the game, but also situationally as well. For example, in 2011 I was cheering hard for Oklahoma State because it was a new team from a small town in Oklahoma fighting for a championship. I didn't want Iowa State to win the game. I'd cheer for teams having their one good year too, like when Western Michigan was undefeated, or when Hawaii was in 2007.

I also like to cheer against the teams with clear advantages (California and Florida schools, Texas schools in the past when they were good).
