scheduling as many P5s out of conference every year as possible... and you got at least 2, maybe 3... + a schedule with Boise, SDSU, Air Force and the best of the American... how is that a bad thing? Add Utah and say Wisconsin + Utah St to that American schedule.., that’s far more compelling than independence.
Plus, that conf could definitely renegotiate a deal with ESPN. If you could get the money within 70 - 80% of what we have now, that should be the biggest no-brainer ever.
250k per year job. Zero job security. Company is all over the map. No shot at promo.... EVER. Very likely to be canned at some point.
187k per year job. Freaking professor tenure status - can never be fired. And tons of opportunity for promo and advancement.
If you can make the money close... Indy experiment needs to end while it can!!!
