This is interesting. I wonder what happens if you compare only the core #s
What I mean by that is that Stockton had two years at the beginning where he was a bench player and a couple years at the end where he was just old as can be. Effective but Old. Magic was good from the beginning, but his stats were low at the end when he was dealing with injury, partial seasons, and HIV issues. CP3 was a starter from the beginning. Steph had a few years before he really got going plus years of ankle injuries.

I don't know how to compare these, but I'd be interested in perhaps comparing the top 30 years of single season PG performance and see who had the most.
