Yes, for sure. Our timing will be off on offense, and our reaction time will be off on defense. No way around it. My biggest fear for this game, is our very small offensive line getting overwhelmed by your defensive line. Not hitting in practice is going to show up big there. Our best plays against a big defensive line paired with fast LBs, which is what you have, are a variety of misdirection / counter / trap plays to the FB. Not option plays - called plays to the FB. To execute those plays, our O line has to have perfect timing, and I don't see how we get that without hitting in practice.
We'll show up and compete, and I am mildly confident that your coaching staff will make this game closer than it should be. But under these circumstances, with us not hitting in practice, and breaking in a new QB, and you having a potential top 20 offense, you should be tracking towards a comfortable win.
