I've seen people argue that it became more timely as it aged
Fighting over a desert wherein is found the critical ingredient to the galaxy's transportation system . . .
It isn't the most gripping book you'll find on a page to page basis. I never made it through the sequels.
I hope the new movie keeps some of the weirdness. Looks a bit bland so far.

I’m about to commit a book sin but I honestly didn’t love the book. I think I may like the movie more than the book.
