If you get any data comparing the long-term returns on the companies they
target compared with a broad sample of the greater market let me know. I'd be interested in a contrary position backed by data. I definitely think CEOs that whale against short-sellers would be better off focusing their companies on becoming profitable. For example, Milton might focus on selling his first vehicle. Who would have guessed a transportation company would only sell its first vehicle after claiming a $20B+ valuation.
