And I am in Calif and seems like rolling black outs aren’t all that uncommon, I’d like to have some power back up.

I do have a Honda eu2000i, but that is only good for 2000w max. In other words, the way I understand it, that will probably be enough to power our fridge but nothing else.

Given the fact that the black outs usually happen when it is extremely hot, I’d like to have enough power to also power a single 12,000 btu window AC if needed.

I understand that I can run them in parallel to get much more power but I don’t want to spend $1,100 on another Honda even know they are the best. It also appears that there are several other brands now that are in the $400-500 range.

Anyone have any of these brands? Wen, tacklife, pulsar, sportsman, etc?
