Are you in UT? Around here, Micro Center has a number of open box computers for
a pretty good price. My son got a gaming laptop for around $850 instead of $1200. A nice laptop that is normally $999 was priced at $749 yesterday and I sent the link to my son to think about buying. Lots of cheaper laptops were closer to $400-500 on their site.
I live in VA though. I am sure other vendors have the same.
I got our gaming desktop for a good price at Costco last year.
