Malik Moore was slated to challenge for one of the safety spots and Herron was penciled in as a starting corner. With the release of the Troy depth chart, I can see Wilcox being ahead, but Herron has way more experience and ability than Harper, Ellis or Livingston. In fact, except for super senior Wilcox, Herron has more starts at corner than all the others I listed combined. With Moore, there is more competition though I do not think he even travelled to Navy, so again, there may be some injury type situation involved.
