Like you said, in the past the real issue was adjustments and variation. There

isn't anything wrong per se with dropping 8. But if you do it the exact same way on every single down, then something is wrong.

Tuiaki in the past has shown zero creativity and when something wasn't working he stuck with it for some reason. When the opposition had a glaring weakness he wouldn't adjust and take advantage of it.
