This isn't new
Real Translation...before we start crowning Zach the Heisman winner and proclaiming Tuiaki a genius, let's get a couple of more and show something we haven't done under this staff before saying we've turned a corner. We've seen this before even just last year
2019- beat USC and Tennessee, Defense looks great
next 3 weeks UW, Toledo, USF, not so much
same season following that...real off 5 in a row, this staff has turned the corner
next 2 games...finish up with losses to 2 MWC teams
As a fan of the team, I will always cheer for the team, but it seems rather quick to me based on recent history to be anything but thrilled with the start of the year, but wait and see if they can get it done when we play Houston at Houston in 2 weeks or Boise in November. Those things aren't mutually exclusive which some on the board think you can't be happy with what you've seen , but still not sold on Tuiaki. I think the original post was spot on. Some of us are very hopeful that this time it's for real as far as turning the corner, but those of you who thumbs downed the original, we've heard this story before from most of you.
