I actually think it’s remarkably self-aware of you to ask the race question.

It’s absolutely possible that that’s a motivation for your thinking (I know I’ve been guilty of that with the “lax culture” of the team).

I know a lot of the comments here are saying that there could be no racial bias in your thinking, but I think it’s cool/good that you consider the possibility that there is some (and if there is, it’s cool that you’re interested in investigating it).
