...if we have momentum and do an aggressive play call that attacks vertically (not a jet sweep). I also didn't like the game where we tried to go for it on 4th down just outside the red zone in the scrum package and we did it over and over to where there was no surprise.
I think we need to be smart about things. It can be a backbreaker for opposing defenses who have struggled to get a stop if we go for it on 4th and get it. It demoralizes the defense. However if we make a bad play call and try to run a jet sweep with a big slow receiver like Neil Pau'u instead of play north/south behind the strength of our OL and they get the stop it can give them some momentum and encourage them mentally/emotionally.
