BYU has to beat out the bluebloods for the at-large spot. I doubt the CFP

committee will rank BYU high enough for them to autoqualify for an at-large spot.

Its one thing if the NY6 is obligated to take one G5 team. That is the rules, so they try to make the best of it.

But to bring BYU in when it would mean leaving out Penn St., Wisconsin, Georgia, Texas, etc.? It is quite unlikely. Those teams bring a lot more fans than BYU does to bowls.
