I have no idea on his academics or anything. Not assuming anything...
...but given his good size, film and being in BYUs backyard, it's likely BYU is well aware of him. And as I mentioned, BYUs newer PWO academic standards are extremely difficult.
Basically the same for any standard student seeking admissions (around 3.8 GPA 28 ACT). Most HS athletes that have D1 abilities don't meet that standard...
That said, if he is interested in being considered for a PWO he or his coach should contact Coach Fesi, Hadley or Lamb ASAP(if they haven't heard from staff yet)
