Aside from basics like paint/holes, and other dressings, not much.
For every $1000 you put in, you’ll only get 40-60% back.
I’d even hold off on the carpet and let them ask for a credit. They may want a different color or quality.

Yes. The house we bought, the owners repainted everything and did new floors
