Power washing the exterior and the concrete can really improve the curb appeal.

I fixed a couple of squeaky floor locations from the crawl space. While under the squeaky areas, I had a family member walk across each several times as I isolated the problem. Glue and a couple well placed screws fixed the problem areas.

I also fixed all the minor issues. It took a couple of Saturdays but when the home was inspected, the inspector found nothing to report other than the usual AC splits not being kosher. Since I had the HVAC repair report that said otherwise, the buyer had to accept the report from the expert, not the amateur (aka the home inspector).

If your roof has composition shingles, check to see if there are any areas showing significant wear. Also, check in your attic to see if there are any signs of moisture. I snow areas, ice dam build up in roof valleys can cause unnoticed leakage, but leave signs that a good inspector will find.
