Alot less partying & large social gatherings in hometowns I’d imagine, compared
to college environs. I think yer correct, but the scale not even comparable. Not saying I’m for one or the other. And re export, I know 2 entire families in Utah who got Covid after their 2 daughters went to BYU for weekend to visit friends.

I’m surprised Utah doesn’t have more cases than they do, I spent some time there in Sept & niece & nephew both attended a HS dance & party afterwards. A week later they had it too. However, even places where there isn’t social events like that allowed, kids surely still exposed to same level of risk via activities parents aren’t aware of. No matter what the fearmongers and/or deniers do, this thing’ll getcha eventually.
