Notre Dame is projected to go 8-3 according to FPI projections. They would be
behind at least 3 of the teams I listed in the pecking order for they playoff and possibly all 4. There is no way 8-3 Notre Dame would get in ahead of an 8-3 Georgia so I felt it wouldn't make sense to include them in the list. Probably in the Orange Bowl, though.
