At the end of the day, the only thing anybody here knows for sure is that, sometime after the second half started, something changed. Maybe that was the plan all along, which 4mack says is what the players are saying. Could it have been Kalani taking over for Tuiaki? I mean, it could have just as easily been Tuiaki prevailing upon Kalani to loosen up the reins and let him run the D more aggressively. But in the end, the idea that the D suddenly gets good when Kalani stops standing on the sidelines blinking all the time and suddenly decides to pitch in a little bit is totally unsupported.
