Then wouldn’t the money hoarding by the system for P5 members actually be
the reason why BYU has a better shot than any team actually tied to a G5 conference? BYU, like ND, as an independent would only be paid a small portion (about $4M?) of the $ that a G5 would get (about $20M?). That leaves most of the money of that one spot to be equally shared either by P5 conferences, their members, or some other corrupt group running the scheme—why wouldn’t they love that? 😄
