Seems like an inordinate number of them were LBs jumping routes as one would expect with 8 in the backfield.
Overall BYU's defense was mediocre at best - defensive pass efficiency especially. I chalk that up to insufficient pressure on the QB and that's what I saw in most games last season.
I saw it some again vs UTSA but this season there is a LOT more disguise and variation.
From my vantage point I get the feeling that Sitake lets Tuiaki go for a while then has to step in and take control in order to get a stop. If I'm right about that at least he's intervening this year and it's working.
