Both BSU and SDSU joined and left that conference when

it was the Big East and an AQ conference. If the logistics were one of the determining factor in leaving, then, why would those schools consider moving, now?

Unlike at the beginning of last decade, there is no mechanism for a conference to moved up to the big boy table.
