I don't think that's been true, I think unlike Bronco, he tries to be sportsmanlike, but he still allows them to push
down the field for the most part until the last 3-4 minutes where he seems to look for a sign from the other coach if they are going to conceded or keep battling.
Most games the backup has been allowed to play just as hard and make plays.
I dont like RUTS myself, but I also believe in just playing the game, the other team has to show some sense of pride to finish strong. If I put in my 2nd and 3rd string players and they execute the offense with run/pass and the other team can't defend and prevent scoring, then I feel I've done my part and too bad.

Even if that’s indicative of how much better the Cougs are, that’s a crazy spread to expect. Especially for bettors.
