The NCAA hasn't cleared up the 'Extra Eligibility'...
Here is what their current statement says:
The financial aid of fall sport senior student-athletes who take advantage of the additional year of eligibility and extended clock will not count against team limits in 2021-22.
An extra year of eligibility doesn't work if the school is over scholarship limits (in 2022 - beyond)
