He acquiesced on that almost immediately, though — when Kalani in fact kicked it w/ the time left on the clock that there was. Rod's initial irrational take was obviously based on his light indignation regarding our punter running the ball on 4th. As a neutral fan of the game, I think he's within right to feel that way about Rehkow's decision. And both announcers did point out it obviously wasn't Kalani's decision for Rehkow to run on that 4th down.

Was there something else Rod said that could be rightly appreciated as "insanely dumb"? — cuz I'm just not remembering anything said that was close to as dumb as that line was. And he pretty quickly backed off of it.
