I was alarmed at the scheme during much of the UTSA game but it appears that Sitake has asserted himself and changed the philosophy.

You can’t gripe about the Texas State opening drive - they went into that goofy Daffy Duck formation and it surprised BYU coaches. Sitake admitted yesterday should have called a timeout but it accounted for only a single TD.

I was actually encouraged by BYU’s defense last Saturday. It seemed like they ran a four-man front for most of the game, and it was effective in keeping the QB off balance.

I just hope they continue with that after Tonga is back in the lineup.
