They won a shortened season title. There is no getting around it. They won fair
and square but they won 43 games. I've seen many a team collapse or get hit with the injury bug over 162. It's not the same but no shame in it. I look at it like a strike season, which essentially this was when the players couldn't get their crap together in time to give us a 162 game schedule.

The asterisk is on the season more so than the Dodgers themselves really. But it's there. Less than 1/3 normal season.
