I think they could survive. Maybe not thrive.
But the lack of exposure in the PAC 12 as well as the horrible management of conference resources will take their toll as well.
The PAC 12 has the lowest revenue of the P5s, so it’s the lowest bar to clear.
USC could manage independence, but I have not heard rumblings that they’re dissatisfied to the degree I have with the AZ schools.
