We played the game at our rival school, but our coaches had us warm up in our own stadium.

We waited until the last minute to make the drive across town. The stadium was packed and the fans were rocking.

The coaches surprised us with some bagpipers to lead us into the stadium while playing Scotland the Brave. As soon as our fans saw us and heard the music they went crazy. As a senior, I was at the front of our line and almost went into a daze as we ran onto the field in front of 10k people. I still get goosebumps when I hear the bagpipes.

The opposing team was ticked. We won on a last minute QB sneak. And then beat them at our place the next week in the first round of the playoffs.
