The AAC is not a good option for many reasons
Yes it is probably the strongest G5 conference currently but ...
1. Bad fit for our other sports programs. Travel would be a killer.
2. Not very interesting opponents overall ... East Carolina, Tulane, Tulsa, Temple ... really?
3. Current members are all trying to move up and if there is ever a Big 12 expansion. One or more are likely to leave and if BYU is not one of them, where does that leave us? In a bad conference, with horrible travel and no regional conference rivals.
4. Revenue and tv exposure both are less then what we currently enjoy.
