I think criticisms of Hans is ridiculous. Now if Hans was employed by BYU, BYU Broadcasting, or BYU football, then you could say he's not kind enough. But he us in journalism and is not required to PR for BYU.

FYI other BYU alumni that at times have been paid to be objective or the opposite, totally pro/anti PR include...

Gordon Monson
Kyle Whittingham
Kalani Sitaki
Dave McCann

FYI if Jarome Jordan was employed by Deseret News or KSL I'd not criticize his opinions, because his presentation of voice would be paid by others, not BYU. I criticize those paid by BYU that sound daily negative in some forum about BYU. That is a huge distinction.
