To help understand the NY6, it may be helpful to realize ALL bids are automatic
bids once you have the top 25 ranking.
Once you have the top 25 ranking from the committee in your hands, it doesn't matter who you hand that list to, everyone will ALWAYS come up with the same 12 teams for the NY6 bowls because the 12 teams are automatically selected based on those rankings.
So "at-large" picks should really be called a "top ranking automatic bid" or something to that effect.
