Fair, but see point #1; they couldn't invest that without tithing

I'm sure there are plenty of people who give to the Church when they pass on (or even during their lifetimes). But without tithing, is the church as free to invest that money? it makes sense to me that those same dollars would go right back to expenditures that tithing generally covers...
