I love Zach and his mentality and attitude. It’s what makes him great. I never want him to lose that edge. But the timing and nature of the headband was ill-advised and not the right way to go about it. Even Herbstreit has had high praise for BYU the way they’ve done their thing, handled their business week in and week out, without begging the media for respect and attention the way UCF did. He praised BYU for doing it the right way. The headband kind of goes against that narrative to an extent.
