Just my guess here... I think both Cincinnati and BYU are prepared to play each other, but both are waiting...

Our really only chance to add another game that would be considered decent, would have to come form the ACC or PAC12

I think beating a ranked P5 team holds more weight than a win against BYU/Cincy

We are not going to get a ranked P5 team... The only teams that have an open date on the 5th, are from the AAC.

If Clemson loses again, Alabama beats Florida, Ohio State wins out... that should open the door to Cincinnati...
