I think/hope you could be right regarding committee looking past P5 stigma.
Even though the terms suck, we could still pick up a game against a ranked P12. Whether or not there is any motivation to do that is a different matter.

We are not going to get a ranked P5 team... The only teams that have an open date on the 5th, are from the AAC.

If Clemson loses again, Alabama beats Florida, Ohio State wins out... that should open the door to Cincinnati...
