Some kids would rather get school paid for and go to a lesser program or classification like FCS while others would
rather play at a higher level and run the risk of potentially never earning a scholarship.
I have a brother who left offers from the sun belt, old WAC and FCS on the table and took a preferred walk-on at Utah which ironically came from Kalani. He always wanted a shot at playing at a higher level and was less concerned with coming in with money at the time.
