I used to work for the US Senate Judiciary Committee, the committee that...
...enforces Antitrust laws. I was present at the hearings where Coach Edwards testified. At that time, the argument was against the BCS being a monopoly on high revenue bowl games and national championship opportunities. That was also when BYU was dealing with the Crowton-era suck, so BYU didn't really have a dog in the hunt for much of anything at that time.

That said, both senators from Utah are BYU graduates and one of them - Mike Lee - sits on the Judiciary Committee. In fact, Lee chairs the Subcommittee on Antitrust, Competition Policy and Consumer Rights. That means he can set the agenda. I would strongly encourage every BYU Football fan who feels that what happened to BYU yesterday is wrong to call Senator Lee's office and demand hearings examining the cartel-like monopoly of the College Football Playoff and the NY6 Bowls. For your information, Senator Lee's office number is 202-224-5444.

FYI, because tomorrow is Thanksgiving, Lee will not be in the office in DC. It is likely he will be in the office this afternoon and Friday in SLC. That number is 801-524-5933.

Let's Jimmer this thing to create some positive change for our Boys in Blue!
