My wife made the pumpkin, apple, and prickly pear crusts from scratch. The others were pre-made.
Her apple pie is the best I've ever tasted. In 2011 it won first place in a pie baking contest in Birmingham, Alabama.
This was the first year my wife made the prickly pear pie. We bought a house this summer with a big prickly pear cactus patch and decided to harvest the fruit. We made 15 pints of jelly and the pictured below. It was absolutely delicious.
