On #2..problem is we’re not running the offense well at all...
...so we’re having to default to a lot of inside out which is okay if perimeter guys would move more. Way too much standing around in spots on the perimeter moving the ball station to station with teammates watching and waiting for someone to move. This was an aggressive, perimeter defensive team and so we should’ve seen a ton of back door cuts for layups, etc.

It was clear to see Barcello running Pope’s offense out there but too many of his teammates, once they touch the ball, hold it feeling like they have to do something one on one with it, or when they don’t have the ball they don’t move off of the perimeter and there’s a lot of standing and watching making them easy to defend.

Last year’s group picked it up pretty quickly. Let’s hope that the returning players don’t “unlearn” it in the time it takes for the new guys to run it properly.
