Boise team. If BYU played a team ranked similar to Boise that wasn't shorthanded, in theory, that would show BYU's strength.

In theory...

We've learned that BYU is judged differently based on the committee saying they liked Cincinnati's scoring offense and scoring defense analytics when BYU is better than Cincy in the analytics in the categories they identified.

So basically, BYU is screwed, but not for the reasons you say.
