We get it. All P5 conf champs will be in. So will top Go5 champ.

Plus any contract beyond those...

But any of them lower than 12 means BYU has to be ranked higher to get an at-large. Which sounds kind of like an impact to me.

Now if all auto bids are ranked 1-9 (in this year of Rose/Sugar as semi final games) then they still technically have an impact on BYU because then BYU only has to make top 12.
