Exciting man!! I knew Conover was special when he stepped against higher level Defenses and went up against the best HS players in California and Texas and still was very competitive, accurate and smart with the ball. Shaun Agauno who has coached the best players in AZ at Chandler High the past 10 years, said to me that he’s the best QB he’s ever seen in the State. This was Bryce Perkins coach and many others telling me that. That says a lot to me.
He’s Smart with the ball, which is a key factor, no one seems to be talking about it. Zach Wilson has been great at that this year. He’s not going to turn the ball over. That’s half of it, right there and making throws accurately. I just don’t see the others doing that.
We don’t want a Riley Nelson type, that’s a recipe for 7 win season.... IMO
