RE: POLL: Which cartridge is better for long distance shooting?
Depends on what you mean by long distance and what you mean by shooting (game or target). Generally, 6.5 CM is going to be a far better target shooting cartridge. I'd probably prefer the 30-06 for taking big game from 300 to 600 yards.
