Opposite take here...
1. To people who know the details of the game, BYU made remarkable technical improvement mprovement in this past season. If Grimes deserves credit, it is because he hired Mateos. Both were key to BYU's improvement.
2. Grimes reached our immediately to Mateos for a higher profile position at Baylor. That did not happen because Mateos was just the convenient hemmroid on Grime's butt.
