Question about Senior Missions?
When you go, could you dictate how many hours of week dedicated to the missionary service? Like say Monday through Friday 8hr days, Sunday - church activity/callings if given? Just wondering. So then you can do a hybrid vacation/missionary service.

Depends on what is meant by "mission".

We loved the one we have served and plan to do more when retired and if health

This is key IMO, taking control of your assignment rather than “leaving it up

I loved my mission as a younger Elder. My wife and I have been on two missions

I might consider it if I could serve in isolation in a non-office environment

Here's how you can take control over where you serve and how...

Depends on the needs of the service position. Many are basically "day jobs."

Many people go foreign with only one of the couple speaking the local language!

Pass on FT proselyting. There are a lot of service missions I'd be cool with.

I would, but right now my wife wouldn't want to.

Pure service maybe. Proselyting no chance.

We plan on giving by traveling to areas in need and supporting those economies

I've been told I have two options. 1. Mission.. 2 Divorce... a mission is much less expensive so I'll go.....

Sure. There are enough humanitarian, service, temple, and other things I feel so could contribute to in a meaningful way
