Just kept walking. Got to the school and all the lights were still off.

Standing there freezing my butt off assuming everyone else was late I walked to the main entrance. Pulled on the door. Locked.

Then I hear a woman’s voice behind me asking me what I was doing. It was a drill teacher. Told her I was waiting for the building to open for drivers Ed. She told me it was 2:30 in the morning and the drill team was sleeping in the gymnasium. I turned around to look at the door and saw several eyes peering through the glass.

“Guess I’ll come back in 3 hours” was all I could think to say and went home”. The walk the second time was a lot harder.
