and stayed overnight in a hotel. I shared a room with four guys, and four of our female friends shared a room down the hall. Apparently the girls were all responsible and diligent and went to bed early, while the guys stayed up goofing-off until 2:00 a.m. At that point, one of my friends thought it would be funny to prank call the girls. He dialed their room, waited for one of them to pick-up, and then hung up the phone without saying anything. We didn't think much else of it until we learned the next morning that, before they had gone to bed, the girls ordered a wake-up call from the front desk. They thought our prank call was the wake-up call. So, they all got up, showered, and got ready at 2:00 in the morning.
